at a glance: Pardee Homes relies on Wick Marketing as a key strategic and tactical marketing partner for branding, website and social media, internal and external communications, advertising, onsite and interactive merchandising and other special projects.
the work: Wick Marketing has worked with Pardee Homes in a variety of roles over our 17-year-plus relationship. In addition to advising on strategy and marketing tactics, we currently manage Pardee’s social media presence, including strategy, content, community management and analytics. We manage Pardee’s Twitter handle, six Facebook pages, YouTube channel, Pinterest boards and Smart Solutions blog.
Our initial engagement involved creative responsibility for neighborhood and master-planned community advertising and collateral development for two key regional markets. We also helped write and create Pardee’s first website in 1996, which won the National Association of Home Builders’ first-ever award for Best Website. We have worked on all subsequent versions of Pardee’s site, either as project lead, strategic content director or copywriter.
We developed interactive displays to help launch Pardee’s green building brand, LivingSmart, and continue to evolve the content and approach regularly. In addition, we produced Pardee’s own video of its participation in Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Other video projects targeted mostly internal audiences with topics ranging from Six Sigma methodology to corporate culture and organizational history, although our promotional videos have helped position neighborhoods and sell homes.
Functioning much like an internal communications department, Wick Marketing also produced externally targeted newsletters for Pardee’s regional markets and directed much of Pardee’s internal communications.
